OVERWHELMED!

Shout out to daperfectmix for nominating me for my first EVER award!! Thanx for thinking of me.
I am up to my neck in yarn! The marketplace is this saturday and im trying to fill orders and make a variety of items. From headbands and earrings to hats and make-up purses...IVE MADE IT!!! havent taken pix..still havent finalized them all..
Global Warmth is friday and id like to be there to support my husband and groove to the tunes my brother (nd comrades) will lay out but i have to finish this stuff......ARRGGHHH

NEW LOGO!

thanx to the hubby, i finally have a new logo. ok, its not really new...i lost the last one in the great computer crash of 2011...its very similar to it..

Ok, i know im a little late, but it took me a minute to fine tune them. I had created quite a few pair at the same time, but didnt add hooks and bind off excess thread as i went along...
Plus, as ive stated previously, im working on multiple projects for a BHM marketplace...thanx for hanging in there!

Busy bee...

Ive been working on all sorts of stuff to prepare myself for a marketplace in honor of Black History Month at my job. So far, i have 2 ponchos in the making and a few pairs of earrings...i havent gotten around to the hats. I guess ill get started on those this week.
Im elated that my hubby put the finishing touches on the mural which has consumed a large portion of his time for the past 2 months...now i guess he can find time to create my logo ;o)
Ill post pix of the earrings tomorrow..in the meantime, check out some pix of the mural

Another poncho

Ok..im going poncho CRAZY!! This is the Lion Brand Groovy Granny Poncho. I ran into a bit of a dilemma at first (had to unravel the whole damn thing) but once my crochet guru (mom) came for a visit and helped me work it out....SMOOTH SAILING!!
i like the color combo my daughter chose..it works up fairly fast.

Ok, i told you about the granny square and poncho obsession....well, let me introduce my very first granny poncho!
I still have to put fringes on..should have those on tomorrow. Im really proud of my coolest creation...All Praises are due!
